If there's a Maxima running 12-13sec 0-60's thats pretty damn slow

I believe that would be Don Cooper's (Don in Texas). He' run 12's before. He knows the actual number. Yeah, it's an automatic! He and I went and ran our cars last night and he really put the hurt on me!

Don ran a 12.8 w/NOS i believe.

Rumor out there has it that there is a Maxima here that ran a 12.4 or a 12.6 and blew his clutch up. Right P**l.

Thats Jamie Farrer's car. He used to go on here a lot. His car is powered by an SR20DE with an F-Max turbo kit, not a Maxima engine. He should be in the 9s this season..

 

Just FYI:

1) 0-60 is referring to the time it takes your car to go from 0, to 60 mph. Normally a Maxima can get there is 6-7 seconds.

2) 1/4 miles times are the time (ET) your car takes to cover 1320', and the MPH when you hit the 1320' mark.

Please get this straight, your questions are confusing.

i thought there were drag maximas out there..like running 9's and ish that can go 0-60 like in 4 secs..isnt there a 3.0liter racing engine out there tha has 333 hp..i read it on somones site...or that max tha has the 300zx engine..o well i guess maxes arent meant to go that fast..peace

There are Max's and maybe even a I30 that have close to or more then 333 HP{at the crank}. By this time next year I will be pumping atleast 350 HP.
