After reading many postings here, I've noticed many people either use 5w30 or 10w30 oil.

With the summer months upon us, here in Nashville the daily temperatures can average in the 90's with an occasional high in the low 100's.

My 99 maxima is driven about 60 miles each day with a combination of city/interstate miles.

As its time to change the oil, should I consider a higher weight oil this time of the year, say 20w50?

Thanks

5W-30, unless you are consuming oil rapidly. If you are, then viscosity isn't your main problem.
