I tried a search but to no avail.

Has anyone ever removed the seatbelts from their max? I need to get them off in order to proceed with my projects and will be putting them back on, of course, once work has been completed. Many thanks in advance.

 

i know that the top comes off with a plastic pull off with one bold and the bottom with two bolts (cant remember the bottom so much though) but its pretty simple. did mine a while back

 

So there are physical bolts that need be removed?

 

Yep just installed power leather seats in my car & when I installed the rear bench I forgot to put the middle belt over the back first so I just removed one bolt near the fuel sending unit re routed the belt & put it back on very easy to do.

 

ru talking about the back seat belts or the front ones?

I think they are connected to the bags and computer. Not sure but also want to find out since im gonna switch the ones ive got out
