Brakes squeaking when not engaged?

When I drive my car after it has been sitting for awhile, why do my brakes squeak when I'm not even using them? It takes about a minute of regular driving and braking before they stop squeaking. I need new rotors and bads pretty badly, but I don't know why I would squeak when not engaged. The rotors are pretty bad. I took my wheels off to repaint my calipers and I say hairline cracks in the rotors. Just have to enter my credit card info for the brembo slotted/cross drilled rotors on ebay motors.

When your pads get close to done, the wear indicator will make noise until you fix them, this is intentional to save your rotors. However, mine did that one time when my pads still had good wear on them and it was because my rotors were badly warped.

Either way, nothing a good brake job shouldn't cure.
