Any interest in Carbon Fiber hoods for your cars?

I am checking to see what the interest is. Currently no one is makeing a hood for your cars as far as I know. However, We at Redlinemax.com are interested in Bringing you new products to the market and are just Checking your interest

I think it would look good. probably wont go good with a chrome front grill. Would look nice with deuces grill or the OEM painted ones.

Not a fan of Carbon fiber, but I'm sure others will like that idea.

Off Topic:
-The rear window spoiler, that will definitely sell!
-Also, I would like to see the side mirrors with turn signals (like Benz's) I believe you sell them for 5th gen models

ummm. i do kinda like them, in other cars than my max...i like the shiny hood in my max, i dont think a car as shiny as my max would look good with a cf hood...just IMO. but hey !! once it is out there...people will buy them...you just need to see few cars modeling the hood in the right way and it will become a trend...

Normally i'd say i'd be all for it. But cf just doesn't match my car very well. Unless i were to paint it to match. I would look great on some of our members here.

And i agree with pal. If you guys could do a rear window spoiler that would sell, loads of interest for that.

I wouldnt say so. The 6th Gen Maxima just has a different personality. Heres a list of what might have some demand:

Eyelids for the headlights
Rear Windshield spoiler
LED Tailights similar to the G35's
Side Mirrors with turn signals
Aftermarket grill similar to the 5.5th gens

Thats just accesories I would personally buy.

Working on the mirrors already, The eyelids would be easy once someone gets a design they like

Oh yeah I second the vote for the rear window spoiler at an affordable price. Where is the kit you guys were working on Redmax?

Not a hood, but maybe a strut tower brace (like this one: http://www.bimmerworld.com/html/carb...race---bfp.htm) or other "performance" minded devices.

The way I read Corey's thread is a new or better looking hood, not Carbon Fiber. So yes I'm in for a more sporty looking agressive hood that can shine with the rest of the ride.

I would love to see a slightly aggressive hood than stock. CF is nice cuz of the light weight. I prefer matching paint although it may go well with my black car. I would love to see pics of your ideas.

Great news, ramberg just received his rear "Australian" spoiler thanks too our Max brother down under "blackpaladin67. I have it here in my house in MD and I will do a fit check on my ride and get some pictures out. Since it's rambergs, I will not do a full install, however get an idea if it will fit all 6th gens. My initial placement over my back window looked super promising. I will be bringing the spoiler to the show on the 10th to do a handoff with my boy ramberg, look us up and check it out, I'll be where ever RedLineMax sets up. Stay tuned...

oooooh!!! I'll be at that meet!

Forget about the hood, focus on the BODY KIT and grille right now.

Then you can base the hood to go with those. I'm guessing the hood would have different/more aggressive lines? It's been said before that CF wouldn't shave much weight compared to the oem aluminum one. So I take it will focus on a different design and the CF appearance?
