I'm at ocean city MD right now for hot rod cruisin weekend (all the muscle and historic hot rods- mostly american) and of course, where there are hot rods, there are burnouts and lots of people around. Anyway, I've done some fierce burnouts in the maxima, and the crowd gets a kick outta it. First they are surprised a FWD 4 door foreign family sedan is able to spin as much wheel and put as much smoke as it is. So much for my $150 tires. Second, its funny because when I get both wheels spinning, the car has a tendency to move left and right. If I jack the ebrake hard, I'm able to hold the car still and just spin and spin and spin away. Anyway, within the first 30 minutes I got here, one of the times I was burning out a cop spotted me and then nailed me for spinning wheels. Goodthing its only a $50 ticket and 1 point. It was well worth it though :-)

I had the sqeek noise doing 1/2 throttle turing and my friend said "I didn't know a maxima can do that" I was like "of course not see that civic over there?? he did it, As a civic owner you should know that ONLY HONDA CIVIC'S CAN SQEAK THE TIRES NOT EVEN FERRARIS. what can I say my maxima is slow"
He thinks his 1991 automatic civic with roll up windows and no cup holder is the fastest car on earth I'll let him think that way and shut him up in front of my friends one day if hes not too chicken to drive to school.

how come it's illegal to do burnouts?...cause u can't control it the whole time?...or cause it ruins "public streets" which is what a cop would say?
