Does anyone dry their car with the ABSORBER?

As the title states...

I bought MF towels to dry my car to get away from chamois's, but was curious, so I thought I would try this. I didn't feel safe using it on my paint - it created a lot of friction. It was, however, good to dry the windows with.
So, what's everyone elses thoughts on this "amazing" product?

I water blade mine then use the absorber. It's great, there's friction only cause the water gets absorbed and it drags on the surface, it's safe.

I have always had great success with the Absorber and will continue to use it for the forseeable future. In conjunction with a microfiber drying towel, the results are excellent (even on a black car.)

Works great either dragged across or bunched up like a rag.

Used an Absorber like product...not the exact brand...They're good but I like my Simoniz Drying towel. They nice and big...covers large areas...very absorbant AND easy to maintain. Cuz if you ever get dirt on the Absorber...it's sooo hard to get it out...but thats my opinion

I've been using the absorber, but I started to notice parts of my trunk that weren't beading after only like 2-3 months with klasse SG and a month (maybe less) with S100 so I just added a coat of collinite #845 and I'm going to stick with my waffle weave MF.

The absorber does seem to work better for drying though, but I don't like what it seemed to be doing to my LSP.

You think it's hard to get dirt out of the absorber? I just spray it off with my hose.

After using the Big Blue Drying Towel, I'll never go back to the Absorber again. Well, I still use them to dry off the wheels and wipe down the engine bay.

i use the absorber all of my vehicles... and have been since 99 or so. good product though in the heat of the day drying a car, it does create friction but i rarely dry it in direct sunlight.
Good product IMO.

I also use the absorber.. I just bought a new one, but don't seem to be as good as the old one.. maybe it needs to age alittle..

with the old one I didn't need to clean the windows after a wash.. the new one doesn't seem to clean the windows spotless so it leaves water spots behind making me go back and clean the windows again..

I use the absorber and I love it. It's very nice to use on your car and its very safe no scratches or anything.

I used the absorber till I discovered the Micro Fiber towels. Now I use the MF towel and follow behind it with a soft terry cloth towel. I like the MF towels better than the absorber.

I tried the absorber but didn't care for the microbeading after wiping with it. Nowadays, it's CWB and WWs. Plus, I just got a Meguiar's Water Magnet.
