After braking hard, tranny slips.

Almost every time when i brake really hard and then accelerate afterwards tranny slips. Anyone else experience same problem?

I had that problem with my old Corolla. I would hard brake down to 0MPH, and a second later I can feel the tranny downshift to 1st gear with a bang and car surge forward a little. How many miles do you have on your car? And when was last time you chnaged the ATF fluid? That is usually the quick fix, if not, the tranny needs to be checked out.

Does your tranny slip when cold? Like hesistation when shifting after you just started driving? If yes, then I think it's time to pay the stealership a visit.
