..yes..I just filled up the Maxima with lower octane gas < 87 octane >.

Filled up 62L of it for $48 CDN. We'll see how long it lasts.

On the bright side, I got the Max tinted. 35% in the front and 20% in the back.

Why two different tints, laws? And make the 87 octane thing a one time affair. 87 makes Maximas act like Minimas.

In Ontario, the front can't be any lower than 35%, and the back can be as low as you want. Doesn't matter.

Yeah the 87 will probably be a one time affair, we just wanted to see the difference.

Interesting note.... the EPA ratings for the 2000 and 2001 Maxima are done with regular grade gasoline, not premium. They (EPA) even base the annual costs with regular gasoline. Hmm...

My brother puts only regular in his '95 Max and he is edging closer to 200,000 miles.
