Stock brake caliper vs. stock brake caliper w\ ABS?

Is there a difference between our oem non-ABS calipers and the ABS calipers? I am going to be replacing my front calipers on my '99 and I want to know if ABS calipers would work even though I did not have ABS before.

Should be the same (you can call up a local auto parts store to confirm)

i think its a 50/50 chance. Sometimes the abs wheel speed sensor is on the caliper itself. thats the only big diffrence i can see. but i never took a look at my calipers so i wouldn't know.

Our sensors are in the axles

I just did a quick seach on partsamerica.com and they list the same part numbers (they don't even ask for ABS or non-ABS). So it would be safe to assume the calipers are no different. From all the brake work I have done on my Maxima, I didn't notice anything special about the calipers (front or rear) that would pertain to ABS- so that's another data point for you. Bottom line, any 4th Gen caliper would work.

No difference, the sensor is in the axles not the caliper.
