Maxima.org ranks 150th out of A gazillion forums

Well I was on another car enthusiast website which said they were in 11th place and decided to search for Maxima.org and found that it's 150th. That's pretty damn good. Way to go .ORGers.

The same site overall we are 150th out all the registered websites on there which I exagerated. It's actually 150 out of 1303. I could of sworn he had 11 maybe he edited it when I showed him or my eyes are going bad.

Being highly rated by the number of posts is not something to brag about. Especially considering the content of many of them. (This one included? Nah)

We are rated 30th by number of members

Thats real good, especially since other forums deal with a whole range of makes and models and we just focus on maximas and were still on the top. The Max commmunity is growing...

This is due to the new 4th gen guys wanting to know if the $30 ebay intake is any good, or why there alignment is out. Maybe other forums don't post as much because people actually try to search for the answer before posting

But anyway congrats to the ORG! Kind of surprising we're just Maxima owners

I'd bet if the search function didn't require some type of donation, we'd have 1/2 the # of posts.

Stickies actually require reading/research.

That's because Volvo's and Honda's spend more time in garages and the folks have more time behind computers to post verse Max drivers are busy behind the wheels...

"actually" you're wrong. many that can search still repost. Search actually require reading/research. too.
and you can search w/o donating. oh yeah, that would require reading a Sticky to know that, my bad.

i think we should be happy with this.

i don't know if this is true or not, but i get the impression that the knowledge and maturity of the members of this board (esp about our maximas) would rank highly against the members of other car forums.

The org, beaten by "Forocoches - Spanish cars message boards"

I mean, how much is there to say about Seats? (not SEATS as in chairs, but Seat, the spanish automobile brand that is a spinoff of Fiat).....

You bring up an interesting point indeed. But from what ive noticed, every forum has their members who are very educated and or technically inclined. From my browsing around the online forums, NSXprime.com seems to be one of the best tightly knit communities, lots of knowledge in those forums. But without a doubt we do have some great members who share a wealth of knowledge. We also have our fair share of:

"mY FrIeNd HaZ a 1997 CoRveTtE, hIs CaR iS faSt BuT cAn I beAt hIm iN mY 1999 AutOmAtiC MaXima?..."

Just my 2 cents.

i know what you mean, but there is a similar vibe in the Advance performance section of the forum. If a person like that comes in there, they are tarred and feathered.

i agree. pretty good considering we have very little aftermarket to speak of, which is the whole reason there are Civic forums. i honestly spend ridiculous amounts of time on the forum just trying to keep up reading all of the new threads/posts in almost a dozen forums.

I love the .ORG!!
