bad maf replaced...still throwing p0113 code...will 5yr/60k mile warranty cover?
Car runs smooth and idles fine, but ses light still on... ran code check procedure and i get the P0113 code: Intake air temperature circuit high.
removed the battery terminal last night for an hour and it did nothing.
SES light still on and P0113 still present.
Tomorrow morning is my scheduled appointment for taking the max in (had set the appointment on monday already when the maf first failed and could not rev past 2400 rpm).
The installed maf is a 2000-2001 that i ordered from DaveB.
Do you guys think after the tech runs a diagnostic test that they would replace the whole maf assembly (element and tubing)? ...And if they do would it be covered by the warranty since it is a powertrain controller?
I got 51k miles on it....i'll switch out the k&n panel filter with nissan panel filter tonight. I did not see any threads explaining the specifics of this situation so please redirect if there are...thanks...

there is a small "chip" on the 2k2 maf which is the air intake sensor. the 2k/2k1 maf does not this built into the maf. you will have to remove the resistor/chip from the 2k2 maf to the 2k1 one if you want that code to go away. it should be on the side and fairly noticeable if you have the old maf.
