Weight Load on New suspension.

After far too long I will be installin my new suspension very soon. (S-Tech AGX).
I have a concern about weight on this setup, around the eng of august I will be moving back to ATL, I will pack the Max with everything I can own (TV -40lbs, microwave, computer, clothes, tools, mini fridge (maybe), tools (not a lot), maybe a 15" sawblade, etc).

Would it be too much of a load on the new step with such a low drop, plus a car full of stuff? I plan to do the install week after next, axle changed too, and control arm. I should be on the new setup for about 2 weeks before all this weight would be put on it for about 4 hrs of driving. Good Idea or wait till I get back home?

Also when springs are settling, it is better to keep the load as light as possible till settled, or after its on fair game pile in?

I think it should be ok. If I can have 500+ lbs of people in the back seat, you can have that stuff.

PS, springs don't settle.

The worst thing that may happen is you'll wind up riding on the bump stops because of the drop, lack of suspension travel and the heavy load. It's going to be a rough ride.

That only seems like ~200 lbs cargo in addition to yourself. I wouldn't think it too much.

That doesnt sound too appealing. The Roads heading back are pretty smooth no real bumps, semi rough road here and there but smooth for the most part. I assume putting the struts on the softest or stiffest wont help me much?

I also have Ben's Mounts to go in also for some extra travel in the back, if that helps make it any better.

Now that you mention it, it may not be as heavy as I thought, I'll have to start weighing in items. The heaviest items that will go in the car (besides myself) would be a TV 25", Sawblade, and (maybe) a Mini Fridge (about 40lbs defrosted and nothing in it).

I just did my swap Saturday(sorry Tom I couldn't wait so I did it myself) on S-Techs/Illuminas. Definitely harsher, but worth it. Car looks sooo much better and handles like a dream.

can you drive your car with 3 adult passengers?

I'm assuming the answer to my question is "yes." Assuming they aren't super model women, they're gonna average at least 150 pounds. that's 450 more pounds that your car can carry. I wouldn't worry about the extra weight of the stuff.

All that stuff probably doesnt weight more than 3 passengers.

Don't sweat it...but try to drive around the potholes.

You guys are right, I was just a bit worried that it may be too much, but I'm sure it doesnt weigh more than 3 other passengers. I'll just watch out for pot holes, make sure tires are properly inflated, and I should be good to go. Thank you all for the responces.
