His 5th gen has it and he went to try it with mine and bada boom my 95 has one too, I'm gonna guess every other 4th and 5th gen has one.

Open your trunk, look down at the hatch, there is a slider with a tab that you can pull up or pull down. Not sure how to explain it better.

That lever is no secret.
The most printed and never read publication is a vehicle owners manual.

get a release cable for the insideof the trunk, and then if you do find a 2 year old kid (or a midget) to climb through the hole and pull on it.

I would prefer the midget, its not illegal if you wanted to shave his keyhole.

touche.

and it looks like i cursed myself by posting in the trunk latch thread. im not post whoring...just sharing my woes.

after posting earlier went out to put something in my trunk,, hit the button and theres a louder, more hollow "thunk" than the usual click...and...you guessed it. the trunk doesnt pop. well take the key and open it you say. well i would...except the idiot before me broke off one of his keys in the trunk lock. so now it looks like i have to hunt for the rest of the key...which he gave me, and see if i can open it that way. I even tried taking it out for a little spirited driving, braking and cornering hard, in case something was lodged in there (ive got some **** in my trunk right now) or maybe i should just borrow ryant35's midget.
