cheapest place to get OEM pads?
cheapest place to get OEM pads?
i bought some ceramic pads from pep boys a year back and they've already started squealing and groaning. does anyone know a cheap place to get oem pads? and how much am i looking to spend for just the fronts?
Cheapest o.e.m. parts typically somewhere like www.nissanparts.cc.
I prefer to buy brake pads locally . I generally get cheapies - BUT with a
lifetime warranty and change them about once every 1 to 1 1/2 years.
Be sure to reuse the o.e.m. metal shims & some "blue goo" to silence squeaks.

what is blue goo? and can i put it on now or is it too late to silence the squeaks and groans? i feel like the pads have a lot of life left but i don't think i put enough anti-squeal when i installed them that they've been groaning pretty much since day 1.
Doesnt have to be "blue gue" just any brake lube for reducting squeaks and such should do and yes you can still put it on now but you will have to take off your calipers and torque converter to get to the pads (duh). I'm actually doing the same thing right now since my brakes have been making some noise (and painting my calipers while at it). Should be done later tonight
