I just recently put a used cattman y-pipe on my 96' and had the flex section replaced. When i accelerate, there seems to be a high-pitched noise that almost sounds like i have a turbo. Dont get me wrong I love the sound, but is it counterproductive? Is there something wrong and should I not have that sound?

 

sounds like it could be a leak.

 

Re-check to see if the gaskets are good and make sure everything is tight
