Interior Molding

I have the woodgrain sort of molding inside my car and the sun has started to melt some of it loose over the past couple years since I park outside. Anyone know where I can get replacements aside from the dealer? And is it easy enough to replace myself?

Is it factory woodgrain? My car hasn't been garage parked for years and sits out all summer - and my woodgrain (which is actually just plastic) trim looks fine...

Hmm... you might be able to pick stuff of at a yard - or try the classifieds forums... lot's of people are always doing conversions...

Good luck... Its easy to change - so that should be no problem.

You can definitely get them at a dealer... but prices... IIRC the trim around the auto shifter runs for ~ 100 bucks

i've got the same problem with mine. the good thing is when the car gets nice and hot ion these summer days it's fairly easy to get off the bad pieces.

whoever said they saw a kit on ebay is right on. last time i looked they had a few auctions going for generic nissan kits that had all the pieces you'd need. IIRC the kits were running about $30. much better than stealership prices.
