0407 is the REF CPS - did you replace the right one?

Yeah I did...
It does the same thing with both the new, and the old sensor in. I also check the wires for the CPS, and they were good.
Is there a different sensor??? Is the REF CPS different from the plain old CPS?? Crank Position sensor?? Theres only one right??

Nope - there are two CPS. REF and POS.

There is one in the transmission bell housing and one right below the crankshaft pully in the timing chain cover.

The REF is the one near the crankshaft pulley, the POS is the one in the transmission bell housing.

Which one have you been playing with?

It looks like you've been swapping out the wrong sensor Pull the other one out, clean it up and put it back in, clear the codes and see what you get... IIRC the REF sensor is held on with 2 10mm bolts.

Yeah I did that yesterday, and it still threw the code and gave me the same problems.. So I went ahead and picked up the sensor and i'm gonna throw it in tomorrow.
Thanks njmodi for the info!!
