Normal for new brakes?

Normal for new brakes?
Quick question: Is it normal that the pads are dragging on the rotors a little after replacing both the rotors and pads? Car brakes perfectly - not pulling to one side or anything. Rotors are now zinc-plated ebay cross drilled/slotted rotors with Raybestos QS Ceramic pads. I'm having them looked at by my mechanic tomorrow unless this is normal for new brakes. I'm 99% sure that I did everything right.
One thing though: On the right side of my car, 1 out of the 2 Caliper Pins on both the front and the rear brakes were stuck/seized in the caliper mounting bracket, and therefore were not regreased and cannot go in and out smoothly. Should I try to hammer these out, or are these brackets in need of replacement now? All of the caliper pistons retracted well, even the rears when using needle nose pliers instead of the extra special tool...haha.

You need to fix those caliper pins.. it is a crucial step and most likely the cause of your dragging brakes. You'll ruin your new brakes (pads and rotors) if you don't fix that.
i had the same problem with my sliders seizing just take some vise grips and pull them out, clean them. Buy some break lube and goto town and put them back in , if you have problems getting them out try a hammer and a screwdriver
if i read that correctly, you're driving around with seized calipers?? brakes do grind at first. but shouldn't after you do the bedding part where you slow down from like 60 to 10 n then 60 n then 10. but if its still there, then i would say its the caliper. but if you arleady know that the caliper is stuck, then why would you ask this question?? i'm confused....

My car is at my mechanic's right now since I need the car for a four hour trip to Vermont tomorrow. I can tell the brakes are dragging because: 1- The car is noticably slower. If I let it coast on flat road, it decelerates much more than normal; and 2- I let the car roll down my driveway (which is slightly graded; car was only going like 2 mph) and listened at wheel level and heard them touching the rotors; 3- I also was able to see that they were making contact when the wheels were off.
Technically speaking, the pads actually touch the rotors anyway. There is very minimal clearance between them. http://auto.howstuffworks.com/disc-brake2.htm
But definitely make sure the pins are OK.
Did you remember to turn the rear caliper pistons back into the bore?
Are you using shims?
