wesallenjr - Nice catch. I tried that site Thursday 18th, and the '06s were still not configurable at that time. That strongly indicates the '06s are now being shipped. We should see them arriving at dealers within a very few days.

Interesting Change on Nissan site 2006 Max

I noticed today that the Nissan Site is now allowing Maxima SE's to be configured with 6-Speed Manual & Leather Interior, but only in Black or Silver.

This is different than last week when no Manual could be configured with Leather. Good news.

Anybody has any ideas on the bluetooth module that ships with the 06s? I wonder if I can get a hold of one and integrate it into my 04...

There are no pictures or specs on the site (of course), so I don't know if it's something that just plugs in and integrates into the info screen. We know the phone icons are already there, so it's probably just some plug-and-play module or something (hopefully).

Of course, as long as it's not $700 or something...

i though the entire system was redone, isn't the screen going to be color for non-nav too?
for blue tooth, i doubt a simple module is plugged in. it would have to work with the speakers and have a mic somewhere.

of course it would be great, but don't get hopes up for it to be easy or any dealer help.

what happened to our 6th gen owner/salesman? get on this please!

You're right... my MB is pre-wired for phone, but if you don't get the option when you purchase it, you're missing a ton of things. If I wanted to add a phone I'd need the PSE box (phone support electronics), a linear compensator and a craddle. Since the 04-05s don't even come pre-wired for phone, I'd imagine that you need at least a compensator and antenna (plus wiring)... in addition to the mic and a link to the onboard audio and power.

Either way it's probably not gonna be cheap...

Well, it was more than a bug because some of the colors are still not available with a 6-Speed...Like Blue, Red, Coral, Sprited Bronze...is this a mistake as well.

The 2005's could be had with 6-Speeds in these colors.
