stock 05 se wheels/tires on a 4th generation

Looking for pic of 04-05 stock rims on a 4th generation

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone have 6th generation se rims on a 4th generation? I'm looking at a set right now but have only seen one, and that was last year. My car is not dropped, will these fit ok? Thanks for your help!

Should be no problem. There's a bunch of 3rd and 4th gen guys with G35C's with no problems. Width and Diameter are the same ( I think ), and the G's have a lower offset. I'm sure the 6th gen's will work.

one thing i will say is that these ***** are HEAVY and will affect your gas mileage and braking ability.. i had to upgrade to slotted and drilled rotors, axxis pads, and ss brake lines to get it to brake like it used to.. they also rub ever so slightly on the inside plastic piece when wheels are turned all the way.. they rub more now that im dropped on eibachs.. hope that helps you out..

What is the offset on those sixth gen 18's? I have 350 18's and I am thinking about lowering mine in a few months but I don't want any rubbing. Offset is 30 on the 350Z wheels I have. That actually pushes the inside edge of the tire farther away from the inside of the wheel well than stock. (going from 45 to 30 offset gives 15 mm clearance. The wider 235/40's I have will push the tires 20mm/2 = 10 mm more toward the inside of the wheel well, which means the tire is pushed 5 mm away from the inside with the switch from stocks to the 350z wheels.) So I should have no rubbing problems with a modest drop, right?

The weight on the rim is 30.5lbs is that considered heavy? I dont know how much the wheel/tire combo weighs.
Now a chromed 6th Gen SE wheel/tire combo weighs 54lbs each.....Now that sounds heavy to me.

Yeah I know enough to tell you that 54 lbs is brontasaurus-heavy. 30.5 is pretty heavy too. My 350z wheels weigh 26 lbs and 9.6 oz. They tell me the stock SE 3.5th gen wheel weighs 20 lbs.
