Cefiro Help!!! PICS inside (no56k)

So i got my smoked cefiros in the mail today, for my I30.

Now i've got tons of questions for you all.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

OK now onto the questions.

First off, here is what they look like.

Now, these also came with it, i think they may be H4 harnesses, if so how do i hook them up into the 9004 wiring

Now here is the whole back, the big black part holds the H4 bulb i think, is there any other mods needed?
-the far right connector holds the turn signal, do i need to do anything to that wiring or just plus it in? and what bulb # is it?
-the little connector to the bottom right of the H4 slot i have no cluew what it does, how to hook it up or what bulb to use, any help is appreciated.

Heres 2 more pics, the first one is the turn signal, the seccond one is the other two connectors taken off

Hopefully the images work, and hopfully somone can help me here, also i know redlinemax has a writeup but its more about body mods to get em into a max and less about wiring which is where i need help. if anyone has another write up i would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

The connecter to the bottom right is for 'city lights'.I believe they're 1157 for the blinkers and 194 for the city lights? I dont know about the 9004 to H4 harness.

Probably not right,so wait for a second opinion to be sure.

This is a stupid question but how do these cefiro (I30) lights fit on your maximas? Do they fit well? Because if they fit on your cars then maxima lights fit on my I30.

I always thought we (Maximas and I30s) had different headlights and corner lights.

Or are they just called 'cefiro' and have nothing to do with an I30?

Thanks

thats interesting. that hardness doesn't look all too safe. I would if it would melt if you dropped in 100W bulbs.

Pretty straight forward design. If anything just splice and test it on the spot before you solder/crimp/ heat shrink. or whats best for you.

They look super sexy. I would get them for my max but not really in the mood to cut stuff.

being that u have a i30 it might be a stock like fit when ur done. but the city lights would light up the housings when u have your lights on besides the head lights. like when u turn the stalk only once. u wire those to your side bulbs in the headlight so they turn on at the same time. u will have to cut your stock headlight harnes and wire the h harness into it. u are going to have to do a good amount of cutting of various things.

^ i was under the impression that since he is a i30. it would be a direct screw in. And for the harness all you needed to do was splice or cut that 9004 harness. add the H4 harness. seal it up and enjoy. I mean its headlights not too much invovled in cutting.

ok yes the bulb numbers were correct. h4 for headlight, 1157 for corner light and 194 for the city lights. to hook these headlights up you will have to cut your 9004 harness' out. cut closer to the bulb plug it will allow you to have a little more room and it comes in handy. now i hope you have a test light, if not get one. the install is much easier with one.

probe your stock headlights to find which wires are the ground (probably black) and which is for your lows (mine was blue, but i don't know about i30s) and for your highs (green). Then you need small wire connectors to wire up your h4 harness'. you'll noitce that there are 3 slots on the harness. when looking right at the slots for the headlight bulb, they are as folows right (vertical) is ground, top (horizontal) is lows, and left (vertical) is highs. thats the headlights, now for the corners, you need to use the stock 1157 harness, not the new one that came with the headlights. there are some modifications needed here. the stock socket will not fit directly into the cefiros housing. easiest way to do this is with a dremel. it takes a little time, but do it right you will want a tight fit when you're done. then thats simply plug and play. for the city lights, they're optional. i love mine. i have an alarm and when i arm it my park lights flash (single click on column) and i have six blue leds on a 194 base in there, so they look mean when i arm my car. i wired mine to the bumper lights, cuz i want to hook up the corner lights as signals, but most people splice them from the corners, its closer. im not sure if i30 corners are turn signals or not, but there should still be a ground and hot and another wire. again if this is the case the test light will be helpful. i hope this helps and if you have any other questions, post up or pm me
