It works if you install it correctly.

Go to Autozone and pick up four or five different lengths of 4 gauge battery cables. Use those to reground everything and it'll be the same as a $100 grounding kit.

It's actually an old saying. Anyways, read that vqpower article. I grabbed the active tuning kit. It feels like it's doing something. If you drive an automatic, you'll definately notice the kick down.

that site just gave you the parts list and a how to guide on it. yet your still looking to buy the kit? Its the same thing as going to the store and picking up stereo wires, like someone suggested earlier.

I did personally, but I'm sure there are people that will disagree. The car just feels more alive to me. It definately made my auto tranny feel a bit better. Maybe I'm just justifying my purchase, but it don't take much to justify $40.

I want to check yours out. You going to Natick Sunday? I have been looking into this but didn't know if it was worth it. I seem some yes and some no.

Were did you get your kit from?

Yea I'll be at Natick. I'm coming down with my bro, he's bringing his SRT-4. Then again he's well known in his circle of friends for just sleeping through previous engagements, Either way I'll be there. I got mine from active tuning. I actually picked mine up before vqpower did their article on it. But noticed all the improvements they had mentioned on their review. Seeing it just clarified all the little changes I felt when it got installed.

most of the grounding kits on ebay are < $15. what's wrong with these? its practically the same price as just buying the wires and doing it that way.

The cheap $15 ones on ebay that I've seen have thin cables. Maybe they work just as well as the 4 gauge wiring, but I just didn't like how cheap they looked.

well you get what you pay for, but the skinnier ones are probably 8awg wire.

Theres a reason that looks cheap, because it is cheap. I mean, how thin are those wires? Same thing with the ebay ground kits, thin wires and cheap connectors. Buy a real kit or make one yourself

I'm not defending those voltage stabilizers or whatnot. I haven't tried to research them enough.

But have you ever looked to see how thin the STOCK oem ground wires are? Except for the neg battery (4 awg), all the others are on the order of 18 awg or so. VERY thin.
