will 5x120 bolt pattern work?

i'm looking at some wheels but they have a 5x120 bolt pattern and i know our car uses a 5x114.3 pattern. will i be able to put these on my car or is this just simply out of the question?

maybe if you buy spacers, but 5x120 is the bmw bolt pattern, used almost exclusively by them.... otherwise, no. they cannot just be a straight bolt-up

what does the 120 mean in that expression "5x120". is that the length of the bolt?
