New Wheels

Hey all, thinking about purchasing a set of these Davins for my ride, hefty price tag though at 5700 without tires but I think they would look sic on a red Max. What do you think?

The wheels looks tight but the price sounds crazy high for wheels alone. The matching insert is sweet, but you might want to shop around. If you do get wheels, if at all possible, go through a shop that is local or near you versus mail order or out of state. You will have a lot less headaches regarding servicing, etc.... Also, if at all possible, go with 20's or better!! Good luck! PEACE

The shop is local, located here in RI and they do come in 20's but I think that pushes the price over 6000.

I think that way too much bro.. i got my 22's for way less than that... you can basicly hook your whole ride up with that amount of money...

not to down you, or your plans for your car, but think about this....

for 5700 you were about to get them in 18 cause 6000 would be 20's right...

lets say a nice pair of 18 at 2500 the most.. you will have 3200 for lots of other mods, like full exaust drop, system with some tv's ect, ect..

you can even get some 22's at around 3800 or less and you will still have 1900 for whatever...

I know those rims are real nice and all. but think about this one for a sec bro.. good luck..

Nice but not worth it IMO. Way too much $$$ for rims on a Max. You could seriously outfit your whole car for that when you add in the price of tires. Not too mention how bad you would feel if your rims got dented or stolen...

daaaayyyyuuummmm ---- $5700 brutha ---- Lucky I'm from RI too --- I'll build those for you all day for that price and even get a chick to go down on ya....lol

Not knockin the wheels bruh, but like Tek pointed out --- there are a whole lotta other mods you can do for that amount --- and lets not forget that we live in RI and it snows like a ********ka out here, so you'll be spending that cash for what 4 months --- June-Sept --- you put them on before june your gonna be sorry ---- specially with the potholes in Johnston --- that town is like forever bankrupt....Hope you see what $400 buys you --- Click below

i have to agree with everybody else. those rims look OKAY, but for $5,700? get the f**K out of here. you can do so much more with that kind of money. i bought 20x9 axis seven mod with 245/35/20 toyo proxes 4 tires for just under $2,000. that extra $3,700... anybody thinking supercharger?????

Nice rims, but for that price you could get a nice set of 20's with tires. You could even get the powder coated the same color as you max and still have money to do plenty more with your ride.

Just my opinion.

If you are planning on dropping that much your best bet would be to put that down for a new car because 5700 can go a long ways thats like a forth the price of the max give or take. You can find some wheels just as nice for half as much.
