New rims and shoes! :)

Just got some new rims and shoes for my max about a week or two ago. UPS guy surprised me with 4 nice round packages, so I of course immediately knew what they were! I got 18in Konig Tuner IIs with BFGoodrich G-force Sports 235/40/18. Let me know what you think if you'd like

just to add to what will be an ocean of the same comment. Drop is needed.
Not a big fan of the rims but should look much better with less wheel gap.

Thanks guys believe me I definitely know it needs to be dropped but hey I work in a shop so the majority of the money that could be going into the max I have to put into tools, lol. I think the main reason some of you may think the rims look a little out of place is because the car needs a drop plus they go better with a body kit of some sort. What turned me on to those rims was seeing this picture of another white max with the same rims and what appears to be a sarona or ionic dynamics style bodykit and in my opinion it looks sick http://public.fotki.com/kennstdumich85/maxima/max1.html.

I'm hoping for my max to look as great as that one (and mad props to whoever's max it is) though I will of course be doing things differently to retain individuality.

4X4 i'm going to have to get the majority of these rims and tires paid off before I can get the y-pipe. My flex section has developed a leak so the car sounds like a$$ right now. Once I have the cash I'll be getting some cattman headers

Sorry man but I live in Mass, not nice sunny Texas like you, so I gotta hold on to my 5 spoke SE rims for the winter time, otherwise I'd def cut you a deal.

Sunten1 - They aren't very heavy at all (for 18s). They weigh in somewhere around 21 or 22 pounds I believe and they make my buddy's 17in Kragers feel like boat anchors. I swear each of those wheels are like 80 pounds each it's ridiculous. At first I thought I noticed a slight loss in performance but now I don't really notice it. If anything it's a bit slower off the line but for some reason it actually feels like it pulls harder on the highway than it did before. I think the new tires of course help too though as they are the best tires I've ever had on my max so in a sense they maybe help transfer the car's power better to the road and counter any performance loss I may have otherwise noticed with the bigger heavier rims. Then again I could also just be
