Right now i have 15% tints on my car. Im gettin alittle tired of having it on. It gives the car that "kid look" as some people say. I seen a 96 slammed max in my town with out it and i think it looks sweet. Confused(Brett) doesnt have it either and his car is dope. Plus my windshield and rear window have small chips on them, so im gonna make a claim and get brand new glass for FREE. That means i wont lose my rear defrosters if i strip the tints.

So i need some votes on what you guys think. Help me out here.

it matches your Black Maxima perfectly leave the tint man....you car looks perfect just the way it is I wouldn't change a thing...but then again...it is your car...

 

The tint looks good. Do you live in a warm area? If you do, then you'll regret it if you take it off during the summers.

 

I say compromise. Get a lighter tint, say like 35% or even 50% all around. Not too dark like the 15% but not too light like no tint.

 

Tint! I don't know where this idea came from that tint makes a car look like a kid's car... I think tint just makes a car look slick. If the darkness is really getting to you go with a lighter tint, but the benefits of looks and heat reduction really outweigh any negatives tinting has.

 

I say if it's legal then keep it! It looks fine either way, but I personaly like the privacy of a nice dark tint job as specialy when your car is hooked up becuase every one stares you down and it gets kinda annoying after a while.

I wanted to tint my car but the cops in R.I. are getting really strict lately and it's illegal in the state now, so no tint for me.

I remember seeing your car, I loved it, when it's clean, like it was at the Captree meet, it looks awsome. The tint is more private and stuff, everytime I drive my dads or my brothers cars with no tint, I feel naked like everyone is starring at me. I love my 20% tint, that way I can look at people and stuff and they can't see me. No trouble from the cops either, at least not yet.
I say keep it, some form of black tint on a black car is a MUST. You can go a bit lighter if your interior is dark.. it will still look cool. Tint is also security, doesn't allow crooks to see **** in your car, like if you have a good headunit or something, and if you leave stuff on the seats they can't see it to break your windows and take it.
Tint is good and your car looks hot with it
