Is it me or are the factory tires really unreliable?

I'm talking bout the Goodyear Eagle RS-A Tires. In July my frontleft went out (a slit on the sidewall). 2 weeks ago the frontright went out (sidewall aswell). today i noticed a bulge on the rear right tire's sidewall. WHAT THE HELL?!?!?
and these tires arent cheap either. i want to keep the factory rims but am thinkin of going to a new set once i get some loot. What do you recoomend?
btw, i forgot to mention. I dont do any burnouts, i avoid all potholes when possible. tho my nieghborhood does have alot of them. man, i have such bad luck with tires.

I found small cracks in the sidewalls of 3 out of 4 RSAs at about 30 K miles (no telling how long they had been there). Because I did not want to trust driving with the cracks last summer (actually saw expressway -- 75 + mph -- driving at 106 degrees F in Kansas), I replaced the RSAs with Michelin Pilot Sports at 32 K miles (last May). They are much better tires. Depending on your odomoter reading, you may be able to get Goodyear to replace the RSAs for you. At 30 + K miles I did not even try and did not want the same crappy tire.
