I was driving around in my car today, and the battery light came on. The e-brake light also stayed on, the seatbelt light started flashing, the abs light came on and the air bag light also came on. I was driving at night and I noticed that my headlights were dim, and so were the dash lights, clock and headunit lights. Does this mean that I need to get a new battery? Or is it a sign that my alternator is going?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
