Tools needed for a rotor and brake pad change
hey guys.
I will be doing a rotor and pad change very soon for the first time and I just wanted to make sure if I have the right tools.
will a 2 Ton Hydraulic Floor Jack be good enough to lift the car up? I am thinking about getting a torque wrench for putting the wheels back on. Do i just need a 10mm wrench for the bolts?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

i think that some of the caliper bolts are 14mm. also the front calipers can just be pushed back in when you put the new pads in there, the rears however you will need a tool. go to autozone or oreily's and tell them you need the tool for the brakes on your car. they should know what your talking about. you will need that. have fun. it took me only like an hour and half to get all four on mine done.
14mm for the caliper to torque member bolts....19mm for the torque member....and its recommended to get jack stands to go with that 2ton floor jack....
