Max with HID Headlights and Yellow Fogs Pics??

I've never really seen a Maxima with HIDs and yellow fogs besides Irish so if you have any pics post them up here. I'm not necessarily a huge fan of the setup on cars besides Lexus but I'm interested to see what some different setups look like...I saw a Lexus GS the other night with 8000k upgraded capsules and yellow fogs and it looked really nice.

I just recently installed the piaa ions... unless you upgrade the capsule, i think those are the next best thing. The pictures i took dont justify how yellow they are. But when you look dead into them, their not lexus yellow... maybe the surrounding area is yellow but not looking dead on.

if u want to get the proper hue of the lexus fogs, ur best bet is to order the capsules and leave the stock bulbs in.

My only problem was i wasnt happy with taking the foglight housing apart. I'm scared moisture will get through if for something it wasnt sealed properly. Plus Im still not sure about putting a headlight/foglight into an oven.

but the yellow output is the best if you use the yellow capsules.. no doubt

here are the fogs with yellow bulbs.

here are the fogs with the LEXUS YELLOW H3 BULBS (with the stock foglight bulbs). THE 9006 CAPSUL WILL NOT FIT in the 2002 foglight houseing.

the 9006 capsul is to tall

but even after all these modifications, the H3 capsules shattered from the heat, so i am done with yellow fogs for now.

Kruppa, you can always get a 3000k HID kit from Umnitza. That sh*t is hella bright and super yellow.

Everything you need haha. Usually, 2x igniters, ballasts, (unless igniter already in ballast), bulbs, and wiring harness (either to stock wiring or to the battery directly.)

I wonder If you could just use yellow film(lamin x) on the bulbs to avoid the hassle of opening them up.

Will any h3 HID kit work in your foglights, or is custom fitment necessary?

what? i'm not good enough for you?

by the way, to whoever mentioned the PIAA Crystal Ion bulbs. I had them previously and didn't like the color at all...they really weren't all that yellow at all...

tim, I don't think the lamin-x on the bulbs would help much with color (as you recall, I had the lamin-x on the lens and it wasn't much more yellow)....

more than 1 layer would really cut down on the light output. The capsules are not hard at all to install.....I say just go with them.

i know that I have a 4th gen, but since both have H3, do the capsules just slide over the bulb, and then put the bulb back in, or does the entire asembly have to be taken apart?

Isnt there a yellow HID kit available in h3??? n3985 mentioned it above. Also can anyone answer my question of whether or not an aftermarket hid kit would work in the fogs without any custom fitment?

www.umnitza.com or www.jlevisw.com both have them. You need to e-mail or call though. They sell the Prolumen kit which is available in mini-H3....direct fit inot the fogs.

not HID. cheapo hyper white, but the color of the PIAA ions is awesome. i've been told they change color from diff angles and look like projections. also i've never seen another car with more yellow output. i spent $50 for the set, but it's been worth it and i plan on gettin PIAA hyper white headlights now im so happy with them

by the way, the PIAA Crystal Ions look kind of greenish from angles - that's the reason I got rid of them
