Hey gas what could be the problem. My gas light does not come on anymore when it near Empty? It's nothing wrong with the bulb.

 

I don't think Maxima's have one... I thought the same thing I drove it close to empty once and i didn't get a light either.

 

Maximas appointed to this particular section of this forum are all awarded with a gas light.

 

You certainly do have a gas light. Live dangerously and take your tank lower or else quit being so ****, and fill up before you get to E. Take your pick!

 

apparently it wasn't close enough. My gas light is a constant reminder of how broke I am at the moment. :-D

Of course it has a gas light (lol). It don't come on until you get well below E. You have a while after it comes on too. It's orange, and it is dim at first, and gets brighter the less gas you have. As for it not coming on, just keep gas in it. If you run it so low the light is on bright, you'll eventually burn out your fuel pump, and clog your filter with trash. Plain and simple, just keep gas in your car

i always drive on E that gas light is deffenatly there, it dosent work so well though because i had it come on then it turned off, then out of no where i ran out of gas and the darn thing was still off....... Yea but its defantly there, maxima gass guages are retarted, would be cool if somehow u can put a distance till empty guage liike the 5.5 gens hav

 

run it down low and if you still dont see one after you run out of gas check the bulb in the cluster its their
