my CEL came on after I changed my knock sensor and I got the code 0505....

whats going on.

 

P0505 Idle Control System Malfunction

Is the KS tight and plugged in correctly? Did you re-connect everything correctly you took off to get to the KS? Did you reset the ECU after you replaced the KS?

I hope this helps...I'm sure others more knowledgeable then me will jump in.

I plugged it in earlier b4 I posted and it said no problems detected or sumtin, im just trying to figure if there is a need to worry, why the hell would they make a CEL code when there is nuttin to worry about...
