Battery and Brake Light flashing!

Battery and Brake Light flashing!

i have a 95 max se and the battery and brake light flashes when i drive it, it started doing this after i installed my system, but i got a power cap, is this the altenator?

check you brake fluid, that might've triggered the flashing brake light.

i already checked it and its full it they both flash at the same time

You know, I was JUST reading the stickies trying to find anything about my problem and ran across this exact question... for a moment there I thought I hit my back button too many times. At any rate it happens when your voltage drops below 10 volts so either your alternator has gone bad, you blew your alternator fuse, or both.

maybe its time to replace the alternator on the 11 yr old car.
