Bedding in Brakes may cause puking

Replaced the front pads and rotors last night and took it for a drive out in the middle of nowhere, and did the Bedding in procedure...Bedding in Brakes

WARNING: Going from 60mph to 10 mph back to 60 several times may cause someone to PUKE!

I've made plenty of OTHER people sick with my driving but never myself. ugh..

What pads/rotors did you go with, and what are your feelings on this bedding process (besides the feelings from ur stomach) think the helps or no?

I went with some Napa pads and rotors, the pads came with new shims which surprised me. I made sure to spray that red anti-squeek stuff on the backs of the pads and shims. The bedding in process makes alot of sense, I am really glad I did it. During the 4th 'slamming on the brakes', the pads really started grabbing, at one point they almost locked up the tires. Before that they didn't really have any stopping power. I don't have any long term results yet.
I hope the Napa stuff works.

Weird. I bedded my Hawks like this: 40-30 hard stop. 20-0 hard stop. 60-40 hard stop. Repeat process twice and it's all done.

Oh, I couldn't get the rotors off and found an old pair of end links had the same threads for those 2 holes in the rotor used for popping off stubborn stuck rotors. Screwed in the end link into the rotor and POP! Rotor loose.

This's the first time I read that you're supposed to come to a complete stop. My Hawk pads said not to stop. Here's what Tirerack says:

I will be installing my Hawk HPS pads and Brembo blanks tonight hopefully, so I will keep this into consideration.

I wonder about the rear pads since our systems are biased towards the fronts. Does that mean we gotta drag the ebrake a lil?
