4th gen battle Video

Eckohb and i race almost every weekend and this time we decided to film some. I am a 97 SE 5 spd and have intake, WS y pipe, and technosquare ECU. Eckohb is a 95 SE 5 spd and has Intake, Budget Y pipe, and thats it. So only thing differnt is the ECU. His car was acting weird though and if i didnt say that he would be mad. We are both gonna race again next weekend because we both ordered the Greddy SP and his car should be normal again. That should be great! another thing we both have is STS not like that makes a real differnce. Well here it is... http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...EzZGZkMzF5NTQx

Did you end up buying the local car you were posting about a couple of months ago or whenever? I believe there was also a more expensive one elsewhere in the state.

I suspect you bought the local one as I think it was Deep Evergreen and you weren't initially fond of the color? Now what do you think about it?

Is it DJ2, Black Emerald, or Deep Evergreen?

Ceasar has had the TS ECU and has been running high 14's constantly but of course he has a complete cattman exhaust system. I think that TS ECU + Cattman System + MEVI or 00VI = WINS! That's just for an NA VQ30. VQ35 is a different story.

Damn, that's a big difference, and a big dent on eckohb's car. Does he plan on getting that fixed? How's the mileage with the ecu? Any different?

thanks for all the compliments guys! like i said though eckohb's car was acting funny so we think it may have been somthing like MAF or coil packs so we tryed my stuff on his car and it ran good for a min then back idk its wierd. He made a post about that a couple days ago i believe. When his car WAS running 100% the night before when it was too dark to film i still beat him both times we raced but not by as huge a gap. About the gas milage its been actually the same IF not even better than the stock ECU. Btw for the people that dont know i used the 95 automatic ECU so i get like 10 codes everytime i check lol but i still think its well worth it and i can deal with a CEL cause it doesnt bother me. -Ryan

We need to organize a Battle of the Maximas at GLD or something. Now that I've got the proper drivetrain and have gotten better at driving, I'm a competitor. Bring it!

go look in the reigonal forum eckohb and i were making a meet but no longer because were both gonna get our greddys and 5th gen clutches put in this weekend insted. one funny thing is that we both seem to do the same mods at the same time with the same stuff then race to see what happens
and what is a touge battle?

Joosdawg, what type of intake do you have? Im guessing that is what gave your car that aggressive sound? Sounds awesome .

i have the Black powder coated Frankencar midpipe with Apexi filter. In total costed about $225 which to me was a little expensive but it came with all Tbolt clamps and heavy duty things, it should last for a long long time. The filter itself costs like $100 by itself. Dont know if that really justifies paying that much for an intake but o well i love it
