what else?!?

OK, so I've got the usual bolt-ons and stuff, Injen, Warpspeed Y&catback, UDP, and NOS. I ran at Huntsville last night and went a 9.1 at 84, but I want more. I want an 8.9 or so......any thoughts as to how I could get any faster? The only other bolt-on I could do to make it that far? Any thoughts?

How about dropping a brother a PM when you come to Huntsville!!! I am 3 miles from the track!! With an 84 mph trap, you should be mid to high 8's. What are the other numbers from your time slip? You are welcome to borrow my drag radials some time. I got a 1.95 sixty foot their before.

I did kinda forget about you Elon. It would have been nice to have another maxima running with me. There was a 03 sterling mist there, but just stock and auto. At any rate, this was my slip...I was alittle off on MPH though.
Reaction: .2032
60ft: 2.2637
330ft: 6.0827
1/8ET: 9.1532
1/8MPH: 80.92

Was the 03 sterling mist actually RUNNING at the track? I am going to have to go back and redeem myself since people will think that 03 is me. Mine is back to stock right now awaiting a baseline dyno, and a header install.

My best in HSV has been a 1.95 sixty foot, 8.84 1/8th mile at 80 mph.

that 2.26 60 foot is very close to 2.3. see if you can knock that down to a 2.10-2.12

Wow... Huntsvillians!

I am at work in huntsville right now.
I didn't know we had fellow Maxima enthusiasts around here? I've been on the board for a few months now and the closest I've seen was Montgomery.

Hey 6spd_Hayes, you wouldn't happen to be the guy on huntsvillecarscene.com's gallery would you?

I signed up for that site last week and was looking through the pictures and saw a nice 5.5 Maxima.

I know the 60 needs some work, but I'm still trying to figure out what the best kind of launch actually is. The best I've seen so far is this....I'll hold it at about 3000 and ease it out. The way I see it, this way, you get out of the hole while controlling wheel spin, but it doesnt make for a neck-breaking launch, but it doesn't bog either. Now of course this is on street tires and a stock clutch, but I dunno

Wow, that is pretty amazing. Is yours sterling mist? So is mine. Well have to meet up sometime and compare rides. The one on huntsvillecarscene.com is my car. Check out my cardomain site for more info on my car. http://www.cardomain.com/id/elon_hayes One profile is the stuff I did to my car, the other is car shows, meets, etc.

So, what have you done to your Maxima?

Wow, really nice car!
Good job keeping it cleanly modded.

Mine is a sterling mist 6spd. Cloth interior. No HLSD.
I've only had it since August. I'm really just looking at paying money towards the financing right now, but am extremely interested in going with a Progress/Illumina's setup as my biggest problem with the car is its handling. Other than that I love it.

I'd love to get a look at your car sometime. You have msn messenger by chance?
