Busted a rim!

yeah like it says. I found out a I busted a rim. not that I'm broke enough lately.
Monday morning I walk out my house to find i had a flat. Got it patched at Town fair were I bought the wheels and tires.

Then Tuesday morning I was going to work and the car was pulling hard to the left. I checked it out and the tire was low. I brought it to Oasis Tire , the company I deal with at work. They told me the tire was no good. Alright change it I said. They did. More money gone.

So yesterday I walk out the house to go to work and see A BRAND NEW tire FLAT!!! WTF!!! So I soap down the rime and find that it is cracked on by the spoke.

So I got a quote on the rim. Man more money. Oh well Hope you enjoyed my crappy week.

1 patched tire- $12.36
1 new 225/45/zr17 toyo fz4 - $159.95
1 new Enkei rim- $328.32
1 empty bank account - pricele$$

You couldn't have had the rim fixed?

www.fixrim.com

They charge $129 flat fee, which includes return shipping. There is a shop in NYC, so they should be able to turn it around in a couple of days and the shipping for you to get it to them would be maybe $20 or $25.

I had it looked at. Being it cracked on the outside of the rim, it was a hard fix. if they welded it would never be the same. to powdercoat it again would cost half the rim also.

i didn't buy the rim yet. i have my winter wheels on now being it is getting closer and closer. I might go and buy 18". I don't know. Sux though.
