My dad's truck is new, so it gets the garage, leaving my mom's ride and the Max outside.... I parked AS CLOSE TO THE WALL OF THE HOUSE as possible, lol. Luckly the winds are supposed to come from the SW, I park the car on the NW side of the house, so I hope its well protected :-(. Peace and enjoy electricity while you have it!!!! lol

Almost 2 weeks with no power now. Im at work now. It sucks going home to no a/c. On top of that, I got a broken sunroof b/c a beam in the garage fell on da Max when the tree hit the house But insurance will fix it this weekend.

that's what we went through as well with katrina...it took us 3 weeks to get power, and we were the lucky ones...we still have a hole in our roof from a tree, and our ceiling is about to cave in....thankfully, we haven't had much rain since rita (today was the first rain we've had since rita, and it was just a light 30 minute drizzle) good luck with everything and i hope it all works out...i know how it is having to deal with no a/c, and when i was without a/c it was in the upper 90s....
