Continental ContiTouring Contact CV95 or other Tires?
Hey guys, I'm looking for an all season tire that has good dry/rain/snow traction. I don't need anything ultra high performance as I will be putting on aftermarket rims/tires in the nicer months. I do NOT want a dedicated snow tire bc I have no idea when i'm selling the car and I want an all season tire on there that i could sell with it. Several friends with BMW, Cadillac, and Chyslers all told me this tires lasts a long time, is quiet, and has good handling in all weather conditions (came factory on these cars). I don't trust the reviews on tirerack or 1010tires bc i've read them before and totally disagree with about 90% of the posts with tires that i've had in the past...so...I didn't know if anybody here has any opinions on these tires or other tires that suit my needs for the same price range (no more than 125/tire) Thanks guys.
Bump guys...come on help me out with some suggestions on these or other tires that fit my description. I'm going to buy some this weekend so I want to have some good feedback before then.
I've installed alot of CH95s on VWs and never had a customer complain. The are not performance tires ... but for the adverage driver wanting a nice, quiet, smooth riding tire, they should work fine. I'm going to guess that the CV95 is very similar to the CH only a V rated tire. They are one of the stock tires for many base model VWs and BMWs.
