how do you get the roof board off? i am trying to install a roof mount antenna.
any links or info would be greatly appreciated

 

What the heck is a roof board? do you mean the headliner?

If yes, then you need to remove all the pillar trim first, (A, B and C pillars) and then the headliner will come off - you also need to take off the door light assembly..

just pull it off slowly, one section at a time....yea you will see the different plastic pieces that need to come off as well..a b and c pillars ... all it really it is, is pulling pieces off..pretty easy

 

well we did my frien w/ a jetta a couple weeks ago and he had a board that the liner was mounted to so excuse me for being wrong
