Looking for some pics

I wanted to know if anyone had the 18" 7 spoke G35 wheels on their I30. I was looking at a set and my girlfriend wasn't sure how they would look on the car.
Any pics with this wheel? Black cars would be perfect.

Thanks,
Brian

Thats a nice looking wheel. Will that fit an I30/I35? I'd like to see some pics too or even a good photoshop.

Both the OEM G35 coupe wheels and eBay replica wheels will fit. Only difference is that the eBay ones are 0.5" narrower.

Anybody know how wide the stock 2000 I30 rim is?

I want the chrome G35 bad, but if I'm gonna upgrade wheels, it only makes sense to get a wider wheel IMO.

Has anyone had their wheels chromed before? Is it cheaper than the chrome wheel exchange deal on ebay?

G35 chrome

Anyone know Fred? Is he a member here?

These wheels are sooooo beautiful. Were these available in chrome from Infiniti, or are these the ebay wheels?

Yeah, he's a member here. He posted a while back. If I remember correctly he has the real wheels and not the knockoffs.

Bolt pattern is the same, hub bore is the same, and depending on the width and offset it may very well fit.

I almost bought a set off eBay a while back. They said the offset was 35mm and 8" wide I believe. Whether the seller was correct or not, however, I don't know.

Only makes sense to me to get something wider AND lighter if I'm going to spend the $$$ on wheels and tires...

Those wheels really do look fantastic though.

I'm thinking about buying those same wheels. I think they would look great on my black I35. The only turn-off is that they are 7.5" wide. Is it true that the OEM size is 18x8"? If so, is it possible to get the OEM wheels from someone besides the actual dealer and at a better price?

I was referring to the FX35 18" wheels. Are you referring to those or to the G35 wheels?

G35 OEM 18" wheels are 8" wide, the knockoffs are 7.5" wide.

Sorry, I misread your post. I was referring to the G35 wheels. They look nice but I'm kind of skeptical about buying knockoff wheels from Ebay. I've been searching for some new wheels (18-19"x8-8.5") and was faced with so many different choices that I thought I would take the easy route and purchase something bigger (and shinier) but with an "OEM" look to it.

ok so it appears that the fx35 rims should fit.. size is 18x8 with 40mm offset ..
What would be the best tire size to go with I assume maybe 245/40/18 or is 245/45/18 too big.
What are the stock 17" rim specs for 2000-01 I30t and I35's?

Wouldn't 245 rub on a lowered car?

Shouldn't have any issues. If there was any trouble it might be in the rear, but I'd be willing to bet that it would work.

In any case, if someone wanted to be assuredly safe - go with 235/40/18.

Personally, if I go to the G35 18s I'll be using 245/40/18. I like the wider tread and a little more sidewall.

Because the stock G35 wheels look classier than most of the tacky aftermarket sh*t out there.

Because my wheels look like this

and I personally feel the I35 wheels I posted above look better than about anything out there under $2k.
I think Infiniti did a great job with that wheel styling.

But G35C wheels are cheap..they go for $600-700 for wheels only on eBay. For $700 you can only buy like Excel wheels or something.

Couldn't agree more. The "sick" "bling bling" aftermarkets aren't for me.

The G35 wheels are so classy and sporty at the same time.

The fact a company copied these wheels and based aftermarkets on them, speaks volumes about their popularity.

Got a better look at the I35 chrome stocks yesterday on a white I35. Looked alot better in person than pics I've seen of them.

Amen to that, hopefully I didn't make a mistake by buying the replicas.

I don't think you did. I'd prefer the 8" width of the OEMs myself, but I really don't think there's anything wrong with the replicas.
