If I understand you correctly, you used the wrong size allen wrenches. Did you round off the screws or round off the allen wrench? If you just rounded off the wrench, get the right size. If you rounded off the inside of the screws, you have got problems.

You MIGHT be able to get it off by using the WRONG size wrench. US and metric allen wrenches are usually not interchangeable, but if the screw is rounded out you MAY be able to force a slightly larger wrench in the ruined hole. You may want to leave this to a competent mechanic.

Three things that should be obvious by now:
1. Righty - tighty; Lefty - loosie
2. Re-install with new screws
3. Always use the right tool for the job.
