GD Feeler:Big Three Kits

I have a large Spool of 4 Gauge Wire and was considering making a Big Three Kit. It would consist of:

(1)1ft Tiff 4 Gauge wire, terminals on each side wrapped with electric Tape(From Battery to Chassis
(1)3ft 4 Gauge Ground Cable w/ terminals attached(From Block to Frame)
(1)7ft of 4 Gauge Tiff Wire with AGU Fuse Holder and 100 amp Fuse(Alternator to Battery)

All of the material used is new stuff that I have laying around. I just wanted to know if there would be any interest in this kit. If I have around 15 people each kit would be around $27.00 plus shipping. If I can get 30 people, it will be around $22 plus shipping. If you interested please email me at Benz626@aol.com or PM me. Just wondering if there would be any interest

To be more professional I would go with the vinyl shrink wrap instead of electrical tape. But that is a fair price.

With all due respect, I am going to say that a GD on a Big 3 upgrade is a very bad idea. I cite the following reasons, FROM EXPERIENCE:

(1) 4 Gauge is a worthless wire to be using for the big 3.
(2) Your fuse size is incorrect. Fuse sizes are to be limited by the amperage OF THE WIRE.
(3) You do know that a Maxima's alt is +130A, right? So your fuse is a good as blown.
(4) The length of the wire to the chassis is going to be different from person to person, depending on where the grounding point is on the battery and the wire.
(5) Same thing goes for the other two wires.

I give you kudos for thinking this would be a good idea, but unless you are going to give detailed instructions per Maxima, along with wires cut specifically for that point, this is a BAD IDEA.

1. Not entirely true, it will be a improvement over factory wiring. 0 gauge wire is Very expensive, I doubt anyone would want to pay that much.
2. It could be upgraded to 150 amp fuse, not a problem.
3. This kit is made for a Maxima and will be enough for any 3rd or 4th Gen. Not positive about the other ones, but it cant be much difference. If its a few feet difference, add 1-2 bucks and I'll get it to you. If someone could get me the measurements needed for the other gens Im sure we can work something out.

All kits will come with a basic diagram for hookup which is very simple to begin with and if enough people want it I'll have the ends wrapped with shrink wrap. I just have this large spool and a buncha wiring accesories that Im just gonna throw in my garage if no1 needs them. Lemme know fellas.

why dont u just try to sell home made grounding kits instead of a whole big 3 kit? it would be so much easier that way cause then u definetly know everything will be the same length or just sell it to people who need a few feet here and there.

Theres already a grounding kit made for Maxima's by either John or Matt. Either way, they serve two different purposes.

eh, when people need power wire and ring terminals, they buy em. It's not like a monitor or high output alternator or anything. And I'd only do it 0 guage.
