Definitely wait until after the winter. Especially since you live in Canada. What color are you painting it?

I remember you posting pics on TMEC...I would wait until after winter so the new paint has one year less of road salt and ice eating at it. Plus, since it will be cold out you won't be able to properly detail it and show it off!

After winter, which will also allow you to save up a little more for a better paintjob. =)

That was an awesome response. Awesome two-tone, weird pattern on hood--if you like it, f*ck the rest. Great handiwork though.

yeah, for some reason i didnt want to be one of the 60-70% of black on black 4th gens on here. there's a pic of my 3rd gen on 20's. i have pics of it when i had 18's on my website.

sorry GreenVQ30 for jacking your thread. i was just trying to let you know how i felt about pre winter paint. im sure the winters are alot rougher up there, but if you protect it, itll be fine. otherwise you;d have to drive around 2 tone or primed. been there done that.

I have the same problem except i just need to paint both my driver side fenders... The thing is I don't want it to be much of a difference in color between the fenders and body..... Should I just paint the whole car over?

What color green are you painting it? I hope you find something classy, to remind people that the Maxima is a flagship sedan as well as a four door sports car. I'm not a fan of the elecric lime green Honduh ricers running around, but that's just me.
