how would this look

I have a maroon/burgandy maxima with the stock cloth gray/black interior. I was thinking about making new seat covers with black vinyl and burgandy alcantra inserts, with burgandy stitching, and burgandy alcantra door inserts. Do you guys think this would look good, or should i just go with black on black?

are you making them yourselves, or ordering them? if the burgandy matched your paint, i think it would look nice and custom if done clean. but if it wasn't quite the same shade, it may not be the best, or if it was poor quality, i would advise against it.

seat covers always look like what they are. covers. they don't hug the curves and folds of the OEM seat and can just look tacky. but if you remove the upholstery and put these on inplace of them, i think it would look nice.

sorry, i got a little off topic there. i would suggest the black and burgandy, personally. more than just plain black and it would compliment the exterior nicely.

I didnt mean seat covers like the ones you get at pep boys. I'm taking the fabric off the seat and using it as a pattern to recover it. the color is pretty close.

ok, that's good. it's hard to say what will look best, but i think plain black is a bit blah. perhaps some perforated inserts would be nice.

I'm sorry but if your gonna do 2 tone your gonna need 1 opposite colors...you can't have both of the colors dark or else it doesn't work out....
