I am looking for receipts for an Ionic Dynamics 97-99 carbon fiber lip and also receipts for Stillen sideskirts for a 4th gen maxima. I was recently hit by another vehicle and I had the lip and sides on my car which are now damaged. I bought the parts used and I'm trying to get the most out of the ins company. So if anyone has purchased these parts new please step in and help if possible.

umm...if you are looking to replace them, go ahead and purchase them to show the receipt again. I would ask Corey from Redline and see if he can't help you out. I'm assuming you will be purchasing a new lip and side skirt anyway. I have the full CF kit that I bought from Corey but I'm not sure that I have the receipt.

 

I won't be rebuying the parts b/c I'll fix them myself and I hadn't purchased them new in the first place. This is why I need the original copies of the reciepts. I can say they were bought for me as a gift.

 

How are you going to fix the CF lip and have it still look good?
Did you just slighly crack it, or is it actually broken?
Your not concerned about the look of the weave being all patched up?

 

its fiberglassed, i guess she wants a receipt for cf lipkit cause she could get more money back, hey its the smartest thing to do

 

The lips is Fiberglass, but with CF layed over it.
You could patch it together, but the weave will be off and will be noticable.

 

why not just print our a copy of how much it is on the website. It at least shows how much it's worth.

 

A copy does not prove that I bought it. You know how insurance companies are. They are gonna try to write a check for the least amount possible. Anyways, about the lip - I bought it used and broken. What I did was refiberglass it from the back and sand down and Bondo the front to an untrasmooth finish then paint it body color (see signature picture). Then I found out a tricky way to put a 97-99 lip on a 95. =)

 

i got rear ended and i just printed out the picture and price of my skyline rear bumper and i had no problems

 

me too... i had damage to skyline front bumper so i printed it out from a website and they gave me a check for the website price + paint + labor. Then I used that money to get a whole different kit.

 

lucky you.... these ins. agents are d!@#heads about handing over some cash.

 

Anyone at all who might have Stillen sideskirt receipts? Any help at all is tremendously appreciated.
