where to get a new spare tire...

where to get a new spare tire...

got a flat, then spare got a flat too.
where do i go about getting one?
do i need to get one specifically for a max or does it just have to be 16"?
any comments would help

go to junkyard....get any 16 inch rim with the same lug pattern. u following me here? u jump in your car...find a tire shop that sell used tires. buy a used 16 inch tire for the old rim from the junkyard. have them mount and balance it for u.......and voila!!!!! u have urself a fullsize spare tire!!!!!

this mod can be achieved by anyone! be sure to follow instructions.........

will a full size spare fit in the wheel well? i never took a look at it at all but i assume it might.

Yeah, the overseas models have full size spares. Might need a longer bolt down bracket though.

that would be nice, im looking in junkyards for a matching stock 16" full size to put in instead of my space saver, seems like a nice thing to have

full size will bulge some but is definately do-able.

just pick up a steel wheel for cheap from discount tire or something with your lug pattern and get a cheap tire on there. im assuming it would fit too, it would be heavier though.

I met a guy once in Westchester, PA who had 5 Maximas in his driveway, one of which was a parts car (I was thinking about buying it). The parts car was sitting on 4 spares, and the other 4 cars each had a full size sawblade rim as a spare.
