98 Max auto vs 03 PT LOSER turbo auto

I got another friend talkin **** about my max, he's drivin in his parents 03 PT LOSER turbo auto, i have a 98 auto max with y pipe I wanna challenge him to a race at the track to see if i can shut him up. think i should?

motor trend rates it at 7.5 second on the 0-60...

because of the weight advantage....you'll probably take him...but have a chance of not...

but hey!if you lose atleast ur car will look better than his!

I would be careful, I drove a 5spd turbo PT and it seemed to pull pretty hard, from what I know, its a detuned SRT-4 engine.

there was a small group of PT Cruiser turbo's out at the track this last summer. Two of them had some small mods with the boost turned up just a little bit and were running 14.0's at 98-99 mph. Cetainly faster than an auto maxima with a y-pipe. Yes they are gay cars, but they are turbo and it doesn't take much to gain a decent amount of HP from stock.

Alteast your car looks better. To me it seems liek everyone driving a PT is 55 and trying to pick up 16 year old girls or somthing lol. No offence if you have a pt... but there gay.

Go ahead and race him, but dont be surprised when he pulls on you slowly...I already raced one. It was 5speed and so am I. I got him though.

um, yes..there was a small group at track last time i went, all of which were running 13.70-14.00 ... .. . .. good luck i guess..hes gonna rip u a new one.
