my friend has a 96 maxima, hes only had it for about a month (hand down) and like when he makes left and right turns a loud noise comes from the left side of his car and it pretty loud. its not his rotors or his brake pads and also his tires are stock size so its not rubbing at all. has anyone every had this problem before? any help or suggestion to take a look at would be very helpful.

 

What kind of sound? Check the CV Axle boot.

 

i cant really describe the sound but uh its like going over a road with like small ridges across the road and you go over them. sry im trying my best to describe it. my friend said it sounded like a car going over a bridge. i also checked the cv axle boot and it looks good

Mine had a similar problem and I jsut fixed it - wheel bearing.

 

yea you probably got to lift up that car and put monster truck tires in them lol

just playing, but I got a simerluer problem i got a loud whissle. it gose away and comes back

 

CV Axle more than likely if it makes a constant loud clicking sound...

 

dude are you reading this SR? i didnt say constant loud clicking sound. i said "it sounded like a car going over a bridge/the sound you hear when drifting off the lane and into the shoulder on some highways"
